Hilariously awful. It must be great watching visitors’ reactions when they’re looking round the place. It’s actually made me like grey interiors. Escort3500 said:

You need only google her name. Quite afew articles from places like TheSun on how she spent apparently £50k doing the place up like that.

Barn conversions are so passé. Now it's all about living in a silo:

Not too bad inside inside (flat cow aside), but still...
ETA: the floor plan looks like the view a toilet bowl gets when a man sits down:
That's awesome. Love the interior too. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/80182674#/m...

It must have been hugely complicated and expensive to convert the silos, yet I'm guessing they're not a listed building or in a conservation area?
So surely once they had obtained residential planning permission for the site it would have been far easier and cheaper to knock the silos down and just build a conventional house?

I’m guessing it’s outside the town’s development limits, so in the countryside where residential conversions are generally acceptable but new build isn’t.
I used to live nearby, it's a very popular area with people moving out of London (direct train to Paddington, lovely countryside, lots of high-end shops/restaurants etc.) and pretty much every rural house (ie. not in a village or town) has been developed already, with villages all developed up to their limits and very little comes up for sale.jamm13dodger said:
Looks like the pink house is news worthy https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/mum-sp...
She doesn't have pink hair, fail. Not a nightmare as such. But a pretty big pool for such a conventional house.

Looks like one of those Doughboy above ground jobs that has been fully recessed, probably only 4 feet deep or something. A little overlooked for my taste but it fits the space surprisingly well.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/109021106#/

Seems very cheap thought it was expensive darn sarf
"Solent City" i.e. the sprawl from Southampton to Portsmouth is an odd place. You have pockets of huge wealth & property prices to match in the desirable yachty towns but the rest is a bit shabby to say the least.NickCQ said:
