Hilariously awful. It must be great watching visitors’ reactions when they’re looking round the place. It’s actually made me like grey interiors.

I knew i recognized that house from somewhere, it might've been posted on here, or the council thread, i'm not sure.

You need only google her name. Quite afew articles from places like TheSun on how she spent apparently £50k doing the place up like that.

I'm surprised she didn't go for pink artificial grass as well.

She must be able to suck a golfball through a hosepipe to keep him happy.

Love it too. The fact it looks like a cock and balls on the floorplan makes it even better.

Barn conversions are so passé. Now it's all about living in a silo:

Not too bad inside inside (flat cow aside), but still...

ETA: the floor plan looks like the view a toilet bowl gets when a man sits down:

I do like that but it seems an odd decision to have done such a project in the first place.

It must have been hugely complicated and expensive to convert the silos, yet I'm guessing they're not a listed building or in a conservation area?
So surely once they had obtained residential planning permission for the site it would have been far easier and cheaper to knock the silos down and just build a conventional house?

I’m guessing it’s outside the town’s development limits, so in the countryside where residential conversions are generally acceptable but new build isn’t.

I used to live nearby, it's a very popular area with people moving out of London (direct train to Paddington, lovely countryside, lots of high-end shops/restaurants etc.) and pretty much every rural house (ie. not in a village or town) has been developed already, with villages all developed up to their limits and very little comes up for sale.

Not a nightmare as such. But a pretty big pool for such a conventional house.

Looks like one of those Doughboy above ground jobs that has been fully recessed, probably only 4 feet deep or something. A little overlooked for my taste but it fits the space surprisingly well.

"Solent City" i.e. the sprawl from Southampton to Portsmouth is an odd place. You have pockets of huge wealth & property prices to match in the desirable yachty towns but the rest is a bit shabby to say the least.

I think that's true of a lot of working port cities. The description there matches my overbearing memory of Cádiz.
