Although this is beautifully done, and presumably would be a lovely airbnb - I can't believe you can spend more than half a million on a 2 bedroom 'studio house' that doesn't have any actual bedrooms. Is that even mortgageable?

I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel or airbnb without rattling my missus.

Not sure this is exactly set up for a weekend away with friends, unless, of course, you have a panama hat on the parcel shelf and pampas grass in your garden.

Nice enough, but it's for a maximum of 2 people.

I think they forgot to do the "conversion" bit of their barn conversion.

I bet it smells like piss and deep heat.

There seems to be a problem with re-purposing redundant care homes. Far too big to be a house (demonstrated here).

There's one close to me that's been turned into a giant HMO. Seems quite pleasant, although they only rent to professionals rather than the usual dossers and drop outs.

Hm.

Seems really cheap as a business proposition. What's the catch? (Apart from the smell of piss. And no, you'd be lucky to smell the deep heat!)

It's way off-pitch, surely, even for a Lincolnshire hotel?
