almost for a laugh,to see if it was as bad as it looked. It was worse! A triumph of estate agents photography. Ceilings collapsed, mould so bad it was in the air, dirty crockery, thousands of books, medicine left as it was. Tragic in a way, someone obviously died and the relatives are looking for a big pay day,as even the agent thought it was overpriced
That's got potential atleast.
Old flat roof extension, lots of trouble. Looks like it also blocks one of the old windows too.

Some of the worst interior photography to feature on this thread I think.

WTF is this, it show nothing but the current occupants dodgy mattress and the paint runs on the skirting.

Double socket....it's got a double socket. That's like having underfloor heating there as selling points go.

Looking at all the cars, is that Michael Carroll's post-lottery house?

suppose the answer is knock it down, and build a modern 5 bed across the full width of the plot?
Fill the plot completely with a big white rendered house with grey windows and doors, so it blends in nicely with the rest of the street.

It's so bad even google streetview blurs it out. Can't have small children seeing that.

Puzzling really as the upstairs bathroom looks very well done and recent.

Here's one that proved popular earlier.
Now available by raffle. £25 a ticket. A figure that is probably nearer the house value than the £2M+ asking price.
Apparently the nearby cement works has now gone

An actual Forever Home, because if you won it you will never be able to sell it on.

Here's an interesting way to stop your neighbours from seeing what you are upto in your garden on your new build... Put up a really big flower bed exactly in line with their windows???

Not sure if its even legal, this raises a lot of question marks about what the neighbours must be up to that you need to block it out like this...
Imminent arrival of a sex pond.

While the house itself isn't a "nightmare" per se, a lot of the places I'm looking at have been converted from a pair of semi-detatched cottages.

This is probably the worst consequential layout I've seen in over a year of looking.

Jesus H, J, K and L Christ.

Knock a hole through the back of the back staircase add a couple of steps up and make a box room bedroom out of bed 4 and remove the ensuite rofl. Block off access from bed 2. Turn half of bed 3 into an ensuite for bedroom 2 the other half if big enough an shower ensuite for bedroom 1 or a walk in wardrobe. And then you have a 3 bed, usable cottage.

Whoever renovated that did it on a very small budget, in the dark with no lights on.

So what's the ground floor like?

Although this is beautifully done, and presumably would be a lovely airbnb - I can't believe you can spend more than half a million on a 2 bedroom 'studio house' that doesn't have any actual bedrooms. Is that even mortgageable?

I feel cold just looking at it.
