Thanks to all the contributors biggrin

Settled on Wilmecote, close enough to SOA/Henley/Alcester to satisfy Mrs PR, good transport connections (M40/A46 Train & Bus)

Ruralish and quiet enough to satisfy me, dog walking and 2 x friendly pubs.

Current house (mostly) packed, completion 1st August.
Nice village

Congratulations. Have you exchanged now?

I went way outside my original search area; completed at the end of June on a place just outside Cheltenham.
I'm just north of Cheltenham in Dumbleton, whereabouts are you.

I have spent a lot of time over the last few months driving past the sign to Dumbleton on the A46 laugh Boddington, very near J10 of the M5.

I know Boddington, pretty village. Robert Hitchens homes are at Boddington Manor. They control most of the land at Bishops Cleeve.

Lots of people say that about the sign on the A46 smile

It's a nice part of the world - very rural but really handy for Cheltenham and commuting.

I've never been down the road to Dumbleton though I know Sedgeberrow and all of the villages round the base of Bredon on the other side of the A46.

I live a couple of miles away and go there often for the train. Nice choice. Mary Arden's farm is definitely worth a visit if you have kids.
