I thought that area got a lot more sensible due to oil prices over the past year or two...?
Or is that specifically Aberdeen?
If you are asking this of Inverness the prices have been relatively static for years. Nine years ago I sold the parents house for 175k. I live in the same style of house and that is still valued at 175k.
I do believe the prices in Aberdeen have started to be more reasonable.

4 Beds in Tunbridge Wells, easy walk to mainline station. Plus garden.

I was amazed to see a house near me,similar to this but mid terrace up for £417.5K.

Banstead ,Surrey.

It's not anything special at all.
Seems reasonable for Banstead to be honest.

Looking like that at that price and "in Banstead"? Stirling Close? If so I think we both know it won't be anything special. Would have thought they'd be more than that by now, though.

Edit. This?

(Look at the variance in sold prices between numbers 11, 12 and 13 - each sold late last year.

Bizarrely the poster after you had the same house among his neighbouring villages.

The street I grew up on, built on what used to be a nice pleasant bowling club (flats next door also built on it). I think it's hideous and overpriced for the area, built speculatively and no wonder they've been on the market a while.

Round the corner from me, more my style but again I think well overpriced for the area.

What do you guys think? Prices have risen steeply in our area in the last 5 or so years!

I think you're spoilt for choice with £500k in your area! I could live like a king for what we're paying for an old 3-bed place around here!!

Oh cool! Well hopefully I'll bump into a few PHers around Ringwood then. Are you from Ringwood yourself?

Oh nice. We were looking at places around Verwood as well but settled for a place closer to the Mrs work.
