Hi All,

Is there such a thing as anti-slip solution or something, that will make floor tiles less slippy?

Does anyone have any experience of this?

LOL thanks!

Come on, someone must know something?

Google and ebay throw up some liquids that are mopped on.

anything you do will mean the tiles aren't shiny any more which I assume defeats the object.

In the style of Viz you could apply two beads of silicon to the bottom of all your shoes and get instant traction. Jobs a goodun.

Same can be applied to the paws of small animals and children, if that's the concern.

Or do as i do when the floors are mopped downstairs, put a crash helmet on the 15mnth old or throw him and the dog in the garden for a bit.

Such stuff exists as we had a kitchen floor and hallway done to stop us and our dogs slipping on the tiled surface, I don't have details as it was about 20 years ago but the company we used said they did a lot of supermarket entrances etc and it certainly worked for us.

This link below sounds very much like how it was supposed to work and it didn't affect the appearance of the tiles at all.
