I suppose we all have our tried & trusted products / techniques etc and whatever works for you then stick with it. There’s always more than one way to skin a cat and all that. Generally speaking I’m a fan of Zinsser products for most types of surface prep. I always have BIN and Bullseye 123 at the ready at all times! Not cheap but they work.
