Congratulations!

Not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere, but would you mind sharing how much the renovation work cost on your current house?

May I suggest Flash that you plan to install an outside kitchen in the next gaff. Include a full size pizza oven (one of the brick and clay type) it will not be cheap but it is a 'must have' these days and I can attest to the fact that it'll get lots of use and you'll never get a delivery pizza again. Does fantastic roasts, and overnight slow cook casseroles too!

Harry I am so pleased you got the offer accepted.

I have been watching your refurb thread on the old house, and when you said you are thinking of selling I was mortified as you have done the house up exactly how I would love to do mine. Everything was perfect.

I also with a heavy heart followed your thread earlier this year.. my heart still goes out to you and Lady F.

But, this is all good, a new start etc, and we all get to watch another amazing refurb thread. Really looking forward to this one.

I wish you and the better half the best of luck...

And moving out of this perfectly good, freshly refurbished house.

We must be crazy.
Congrats, brave but I think it will reward you. Its a good size house and could be amazing.

Take it youve seen the Streetview on it? I wont post it but seems to have scaffolding work on the outside going on so guessing some sort of work was being done April 2015. Might be worth finding out what was done at that point, guessing someone has backed out of the project?

Good heavens, your current property is absolutely beautiful.

It takes some balls to leave that behind but I'm sure, having seen your existing home, you'll transform the new place into something equally stunning.

Oh yes! He's not selling at the moment, but I have time. Imagine how PH a four bay garage with workshop would be? Lady F would lose me to tinkering with classic cars...

Funny time this - she's definitely excited about this, but a bt worried we've bitten off more than we can chew this time. I hope to prove her wrong!

You could put a house on that space, but 4 garages would be more PH by far and the icing on the cake

Thats the thing, if you could get planning (and im sure the current owner has thought about it), that land will be worth a fortune. Youd be mad to buy it and not try.

Thanks - we are under offer, yes! Amazing in 10 days: say what you will about EAs but Hamptons worked damned hard for us and so far have been a pleasure to deal with...let's hope we stay on track.
