I'm looking for a supplier which will do bronze tint (non reflective) tint in a double glazing unit. It's for an 80s aluminium framed window. I believe the unit is 18mm thick (4/10/4) and it's quite large at 1130 x 1385 mm. Any ideas?
It will be anti sun bronze, any glass company should be able to make it. However back then there was 3 tints available, light, mid and dark, now there is only the mid.
Not sure about the unit itself, but why not just tint what you have? Mate of mine is a window tinter ( mainly cars ) but doing a lot of commercial properties/offices at the moment. Might also be cheaper.
Planned window fitter says anti-sun bronze is reflective (somewhat) whereas mine (pre-existing that I need to match - flats) is not, he describes it just as a bronze tint not anti-sun. Retrofit tint is an idea, thanks, though I guess may have the same issue.
