Hi all PH'ers.

Julian's asked me to post a message that his WIFI is down so is unable to reply / update on anything currently. As & when up & running - no doubt the adventure will continue ....

Feeling like a freeze frame from DALLAS c1982 ...

I wonder if the sparky still has all of the electrics disabled, long time since the last update.

Small world! Can you say which company?
A small local one with offices in W Bridgford Arnold and Netherfield. We have recently had a major nationwide competitor move in....

Sorry to be cryptic but Internet Sherlocks and all that. I was in WB today.

Hi guys all gone well today.
The shutter is not substantial. We only fill 400mm at a time.
Pipework is industry standard.
Another hard day. Feel old.
Broke another lad today.
Beer time!

Looking good.... presumably the grp finish of the pool is the final finish and does not get tiles or anything like that?

Apparently its a finish designed to give the water a deeper blue colour .

Thanks we try. Not all Trades/builders are bad and unreliable.
Julian bought us pizza and beer last night. A nice thing to do and very well received by all of us.

I know advertising isn't allowed on PH but you should get your company name in some of the pics wink

One quick thought, that you may not have considered.

Music?

If there is still time, get four ducts in to each corner of the terrace / patio / pool, back to the same position in the house, with a pull cord, then you could at least add it at a later date if wanted.

It does add an extra dimension to BBQ's, Parties and general swiming.

Good shout, I installed a couple of Bose Free space 51 speakers in a neighbours garden a little while ago and 4 of those would sound great without breaking the bank. Able to be half buried, hidden in shrubbery and weatherproof all year round.

Nah, too passé. How about a 240" projection onto the gable end of that neighbouring hovel? blah

Great shout regarding ducts - you never know, more services may be needed and it's always good to have an easy route. Bit of alkathene (sp?) capped off will stand up to anything.

Awesome thread, will be checking back daily!

Have you thought about putting in a cat5 cable to the plant room back to the main house? Would allow you to add a wifi access point at a later date and also allow the pool controls to be intergrated into any future smart home upgrades.
