We have a jet wash for the cars, but it is hard work on the existing paving every years. What would you recommend?
Patio Magic. You'd need a drum tho!

Thats a lot of slabs, assuming youve got a fair amount of furniture etc coming to fill out the space?

I have just spent the last 2 hours at work reading this thread. Well worth it.

Amazing effort by all involved.

Francesca is a lucky girl. Happy belated birthday!

Oh. For the coping stones?

I thought for a second they'd decided to switch from sequentially laying patio slabs to just putting them anywhere. hehe

Chav it up with an outdoor pool table - https://www.libertygames.co.uk/store/pool_tables/o...

That cover should really help with getting the temperature up.

I'm no expert but the colour of the water looks good, when it goes a funky green shade like the pool at the Rio Olympics it might be time to worry smile

You're gonna need a decent jet washer with a patio cleaner attachment next spring with all those slabs.

We had just under 3,000 sq ft of patio done last summer. After a whole day with an old jet wash and a lance I'd only cleaned a third of it so got bored and went out and bought the full monty kracher system. Did the rest of it in a morning. Very satisfying when all nice and clean.

Perhaps madness....but would it be worthwhile trying to seal with a resiblock sealant? There was someone raving about how good the stuff was on a different thread some time ago (I recall he had blocks done 5 years ago, and still allegedly a cinch to clean off)...

Will the pool cover take the weight of a person?

Yes, it can take 100 kilos. It is very much there for a safety purpose as well as keeping the water warm.

I saw those shutters and immediately thought of the pool fight in Thunderball! I assume you haven't got a hidden pool with a pet shark in elsewhere in the garden... biggrin

A fortunate effect of grey walls behind the frangipani tree, the shadow cast by the tree does appear to be a distant tree in the canopy mist.
I actually live in a busy suburb in South Jakarta.
