I'm no expert but the colour of the water looks good, when it goes a funky green shade like the pool at the Rio Olympics it might be time to worry

Perhaps madness....but would it be worthwhile trying to seal with a resiblock sealant? There was someone raving about how good the stuff was on a different thread some time ago (I recall he had blocks done 5 years ago, and still allegedly a cinch to clean off)...

Yes, it can take 100 kilos. It is very much there for a safety purpose as well as keeping the water warm.
