I have serious pool cover envy. Windy here, and plenty of leaves are getting under my glorified bubble wrap.

Good point! Do you think it will be completed in the next 5 days?

How does the end of the cover work? Is it self supported?

Is the cover powered, or do you have to drag it over the pool?

Excuse my ignorance, where does the cover go when it's not covering the pool?

Really enjoyed following your thread. I did a similar installation a couple of years ago. Mine has the same slatted cover and the pool is grey like yours.

Did you get it from Riviera Pools in Germany?

Very nice!

There's a box within the end of the pool - images a few pages back.

I certainly hope so, then we start on the second project - re-turfing the now knackered lawn!!!

That'll be when the rain ends and the dry sunny days start wink While the lawn is in a state you might install pop up sprinklers.

Snap! Riviera in Germany and the same shell colour as you - though your pool is giving me design envy before mine is even finished! eek

Edited for typos

It is an electric cover and it floats on the water surface so supports itself. Cheers!

It rolls up into a pit at the end of the pool so you can't see it when it is open.

Edited to say I hadn't seen Chris already answered you on this one!
