You have inspired me to treat my daughter. I am going to stop at the co-op on my way home and buy her a zombling. biggrin

As above - those pictures show exactly what has made the whole thing worthwhile.

And it is still probably cheaper in the long term than getting her a pony....

It'll be great when she gets all her mates over as well. I've got some fantastic photo's of when my daughter was that age from some pool parties when there's so many kids in it you couldn't see the water.

Trouble is then you soon realise you need changing rooms as well. Having 30 sopping wet children running into the house to get changed does not a happy Mrs make.

Start borrowing the towelling robes from hotels when you go away as you're going to need a lot of them. Loads of towels and spare swimming cosies as well. Nothing worse than some sad lone kid watching all the others have fun because they didn't know you had a pool and didn't come prepared.

Cracking effort from a chap that many could learn a lot from. Should be very proud of what you've done for your daughter, very few people left, that could be so selfless.

This man speaks much sense! Fortunately our daughter's the biggest in her year, being the oldest, so we've lots of cast-off cossies to choose from smile

There's a thread going about a very unfortunate lady having trouble with her builder nearly bringing their house down?
Not as good reading as this one though.

A spaceship to Mars might be on the table...

Or probably re-turfing the lawn and then chilling out for a bit!

The location for the pool looks so right, like it was always meant to be there.

The Daughter looks happy aswell so it's a win win situation smile

My daughter has been hassling me about the pink wall in her bedroom for a while...
I'm about to start a '3.5m x 2.4m repaint of feature wall in 3 weeks (with new Billy bookcase)' thread if anybody's interested?
