First concrete went in yesterday! wink

We are now waiting for some water to arrive so we can put the second load in (I went for sparkling in the end). hehe

Inevitably, there'll be a fair bit of muck in the water with the ongoing build whilst filling up. It's already looking a bit muddy.

I'm curious how's that going to be dealt with? Will the filter sort it out or would you need to let it settle then suck it up from the bottom then top up the water levels?

It's stopped raining and the lads are back on the gob:
I hope that's not the case, green congealed floaters in your pool would really cheapen the overall effect! yuck

Hydration before you empty more loads, wise.
Although I am surprised you have only managed one load between you.
You need to get Gretchen round to speed up the load delivery.

The water is here now...

Apparently, it will only take a day or two for the filtration to turn the filthy water in there now to being completely clear...

Is it just me or is that water level higher at the left end than the right? Pool basin not level?

If you are in a hurry, you might be able to use a pond vacuum cleaner to speed this process along.

Looking at the "gully cleaning" writing on the side of the lorry, are you sure that is clean water he is putting in there? wink

There was some mention of pre-warmed water idea
