First concrete went in yesterday! wink

We are now waiting for some water to arrive so we can put the second load in (I went for sparkling in the end). hehe
DP?

Stop sniggering at the back. Dom Perignon of course.

Looking at the "gully cleaning" writing on the side of the lorry, are you sure that is clean water he is putting in there? wink
There was some mention of pre-warmed water idea
It is clean water, the heated idea was far more expensive than heating it cold water already in the pool, so nice as the idea was it didn't make any sense!

Is it just me or is that water level higher at the left end than the right? Pool basin not level?
Trick of the camera.
Yep, it is just the angle I was holding my phone to take the photo - thankfully!

If you are in a hurry, you might be able to use a pond vacuum cleaner to speed this process along.
Definitely. Something with great suction. I'd offer to help but I'm working.

Plus I don't have a pool vacuum anymore.

Be careful, my hose could make you very wet.

What a great thread. Brilliant work OP

Nothing I like better than a build thread with added innuendo in every post smile

Those bars are going to be a bugger to swim under once the water level is a bit higher.

Can I ask what that is and what it does? A pump? Main water feed (hence the copper pipe)? Assume it will remain accessible as there are isolation valves...

And as I haven't chimed in yet, congratulations on an outrageous project! I wasn't sure you'd manage it, but looks well on course now.

I certainly hope you finish soon, hitting refresh on this thread all day is killing my productivity...

biggrin same here...off on hols tomorrow and still have a load of work to finish before I go. Which reminds me, I better check my data roaming charges as checking in on this thread will eat up the Gb's.

Great to see the progress update pics...it's addictive!
