It is clean water, the heated idea was far more expensive than heating it cold water already in the pool, so nice as the idea was it didn't make any sense!

Can I ask what that is and what it does? A pump? Main water feed (hence the copper pipe)? Assume it will remain accessible as there are isolation valves...

same here...off on hols tomorrow and still have a load of work to finish before I go. Which reminds me, I better check my data roaming charges as checking in on this thread will eat up the Gb's.
