I thought the water would arrive by tanker rather than road sweeper. Is that normal?
We planned to use the Road Sweepers metered fire Hydrant supply but the Hydrant opposite was seized!!!So the sweeper driver did multiple trips to the nearest Hydrant to keep the water flowing.
Then the 4pm concrete pour arrived at 6pm.
We are having lots of look on the job. All of it bad.
Now having a Drink. Cheers Julian.

Stupid question time - why are the drains all the way over on the edge of the patio and not closer to the perimeter of the pool?
I'll wager it's because there's a fall away from the pool. Ask me the perils of getting non-specialists to pave around a pool...Bonefish Blues said:

Just to clarify, those are drains for the patio and not for the pool. One thing I cannot seem to make out is that the pool only seems to have skimmers and I have not seen any bottom drains. My pool does some of its best clearing work when the pump is off and everything settles to the bottom and then when the pump comes back on it sucks it up in the bottom drain, aided by a sump design with 8foot deep end. Does the design not need a bottom drain? Maybe the whirlpool design does away with that need?

Maybe the plan is to use a Kreepy Krauly - these were very popular in South Africa. Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
