His?
I think you'll find that Gretchen is of definitely of the fairer sex!
I'm not sure that makes it any better
And not to my advantage.
Julian - Have you ordered a summerhouse yet? And plants? As much as I personally don't have foliage,
I'd love to see yours.

I'm very fair. In fact I think I've always given far better than I've got.
And not to my advantage.

I keep all my foliage very well trimmed. And not to my advantage.

The main thing is getting very hard now.
Keeping this project going.

When I was 14/15 I spent my whole summer helping my Dad hand dig a pool... put me off swimming for life!
I suspect your daughter may feel a bit differently. Amazing effort. She deserves it and so do you.
Thank you, kindly. I suspect your daughter may feel a bit differently. Amazing effort. She deserves it and so do you.
It has been a lot of hard work for the lads (not so much hard work for me - just stressful!) and it looks like we are going to get there....

Pools with a main drain in the lowest part of the floor can be emptied really quickly using the filter pump with the multi-valve set to 'waste' or 'backwash', depending on the filter media.
I was at a friend's over lunch discussing plans for a two storey kitchen and bedroom extension and mentioned this thread and blogging their plans. We then went to check her pool and decided it needed a 'backwash'. This word makes me snigger every time. Matt Harper said:
That's funny. When it comes to 'backwashing', this is my pride and joy - a Japanese Toto Washlet S350E bidet. A true indulgence if ever there was one - and maybe a subject for an entirely different thread. Cost a bloody fortune, but scrubbing ones secret places with bits of paper is rendered medieval by this baby!
Correct, subject for a different thread, in the boring section.Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
