tty new build lounge, but neither of us have a clue, to the point we have about given up. You have a genuine skill there that I am immensely envious of. We trawl all the normal Houzz etc places and come back even more confused.
You'll rent that no issue, although I would be terrified of what may happen to it all.

All very nice, as I've said before.
One beef I have with Estate agents and the like is their use of wide angle lenses, to make things look bigger. Or in the case of your house even bigger! This point was confirmed in one of the pics showing a toilet, it being the widest bog I've ever seen!

Harry, two words of warning when you use the brick acid, which we discussed. Mask up!
Recently I painted the side of the house, and for various reasons it wasn't practical to dust sheet everywhere. My logic was to let the drips get on the brick path, the wall et all, the go over them with BA. When finished I poured (likely) 2 gallons of it over the path.
What happened next was horrid. A cloud of sulpher fumes overcame me, my eyes were on fire, then I had a massive urge to blow snot out my nose, like when you HAVE to piss. Said snot made me feel like my nose was on fire!
Today I did a job for a customer who is a nurse. I've done a few jobs for her, I consider her a semi-mate. I told her all this, and asked her if I'd been stupid. She gave me a one word answer. 'Incredibly'
The burning was me loosing my nostril hairs (at least that saves me trimming) BUT, she said that ultimately, had I not got out of the 'cloud' it could have gone down in to my lungs, burnt them, and even risked death!
I'm sure you're not as stupid as me (well, actually, you have your moments!) but just be warned.....

I can't believe you'd risk letting this out short term, I appreciate given its location and size it'll likely bring in a nice sum, but I don't think I could bring myself to take such a risk unless I had no choice. It's being occupied by friends, who are doing a renovation. Was not feasible before as they needed it in April - but Lady F was given another month of maternity leave, so we aren't coming back until May. Everyone's a winner here! No rental income, but security and they'll pay all bills etc and treat us to some very nice dinners when out visiting us in France at half term...
Most big sheds can copy F&B using their Spectros. I use one for colour matching through work, and it's minimum accuracy is 99.98%. The thing that determines the accuracy is the person decanting the colours. About half the cost too. Not for a second telling Harry what brand he bought either.
Buying F&B paint is pointless, except for bragging rights. Not suggest that HF is wanting to do that but I don't even specify it on multi-millionaires homes in central London. Simply because any paint colour is available if it is mixed plus the fact that F&B will need 3 coats where most will be fine with two. Of course, do as you want, that's why the F&B's of this world still exist.
