Another site for retro lights is 360volt in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately their stuff is rather more expensive than Trinity Marine.

Is that light switch partly obscured by the oven, or hasn’t it been pushed back fully yet?
Oven hasn't been plugged in and pushed back yet...I'm actually not that happy about where the light switch is: it's only because this particular oven opens only the glass bit of the door (the stainless surround does not hinge forward) that we do not have a problem with the opening door fouling the switch. Options are to move the switch, or move all the cabinets slightly right.Edited by Harry Flashman on Wednesday 18th October 13:18

In your utility room have you thought about a mud station for little ones and pets?
It's going to be one of the things that I put in when I move to Finland.
That's one of those things that initially looks like a really good idea, but I can only imagine the mess when a wet, muddy dog decides to vigorously shake dry in that 'mud station', and in doing so redistribute the mud and water all over the utility room! It's going to be one of the things that I put in when I move to Finland.
My parents had one - has a glass door like a shower enclosure, and was taller.
The dogs utterly hated it. It was always a race to shower/clean said hound and then slam the door before a long-haired wiemeraner decided to shake its considerably coat and plaster everyone in water.
Which as a kid, I thought was hilarious.

Hope so Henners! Feels a long way off right now, though...
And we have chosen pendant lights for the kitchen. A mix of these over the island:

And these in the dining area, with ceiling roses around the mounting:

I like the similarity of design, but the fact that you will get a mix of metal finishes - iron, brass and copper, varying between the different lamps. SHould work quite well with the slightly battered floorboards and raw brick on the chimney breast, as well as the dark green kitchen.
Thanks for the link, ordered one. If we like it enough maybe order some more. And we have chosen pendant lights for the kitchen. A mix of these over the island:

ETA, That site is hours of fun. I've forwarded a link to Mrs PR, hoping for a missile launcher or something for christmas, but a telephone exchange or ejector seat would be great also.

I've just popped a spare 60w bulb in for now, will replace with one of these

Thanks Ray - we haven't actually ordered them yet as builder not quite ready for second fix - I was thinking of going for the aluminium fittings rather than the nickel lightweight. Which did you get?
At least delivery looks fast...
Also, use LEDhut for "filament" LED's. Cheaper than that option, and the bulbs I bought from them are great. Be aware the "warm" ones are very warm - I'd use a colder one with those copper or brass lights as the metal gives a warm glow anyway...

I had the nickel fitting, probably easier to fit the choc blocks in the aluminium jobbie.
