"Realistically priced"

There's a phrase that's loaded with hidden meaning...

Facing onto farm buildings just south of Bangor Race Course - https://www.google.com/maps/@52.9905476,-2.92619,3... so if you like horses.

I wonder though if some development is planned.

Also no mention of plot size which, on Google Earth looks a bit stingy.

1-1.25 acres guessing from google earth.

No from me, next to a flood area, staring at a bunch of probably stinky farm buildings.....

There will be a reason that is 650, quite apart from ‘Bangor’.

Lovely building.

Middle of London? I don't know, but the house is lovely - it has:

Sub-Basement
Basement
Lower Ground Floor
Raised Ground Floor
First, Second & Third floors

Good parking though

That'd do for me!

Nice, but the location ruins it for me. If you're going to live near London, at least have the transport links of London within a reasonable distance. Belmont, Banstead line is 1 train every half hour!

Love the nightclub bathroom though biggrin

Re The Deodar road home above, sorry. No Garage! (which seems common in Putney generally)

It's probably better than some more expensive agents, for one it can be clearly read and for another it probably has all the required interior doors, no solid wall access into the kitchen or bathroom. smile

Does this mean the purchaser can set up it's own criminal justice system. Hanging for all offences above littering, deportation to the colonies for those and below.

That place was in the news recently as the guy picked it up for £75k at an auction - story was along the lines of it had been undersold at the expense of the public purse. If it went to an open auction and sold I can’t see how he’s done anything wrong, he’s just picked up a bargain.

Sounds like it was a tender offer and he was the only one to make an offer and after 2yrs of trying to sell it, they accepted his offer.

If no one offered more than £75k when on tender, and it didnt sell for £275k when marketed by the Courts Service, why does this idiot think he can get £275k now? There's been no change to the building.

And people will know how much he paid for it so will grudge him making that much dosh for sweet FA smile

The building is pretty irrelevant. Market timing and differing profiles of the vendors plays a more relevant role.

An uninterested, cash strapped and non price sensitive council selling 2 years ago versus a more dynamic vendor in a changed market who is looking to maximise return not dump at any cost.

If you look at that building you’ve got to ask yourself whichbof the two vendors has a better idea of the true value? The committee who dumped it for £75k or the commercial developer who believes it is worth more than £200k?

Logic would suggest to all and sundry that the speculator is not the idiot.
