fair enough. It is absolutely not what i would want but i respect his choices!I bought some land a few years back opposite him, so I’m planning on having one built too in the near future hopefully. It’s a good getaway from the life in big towns/cities etc. Gives the kids a good workout being in an old village with plenty of animals about and beautiful fresh oxygen.

SGH isnt very nice. It seems it from the outside looking in but its tightly packed, very little real security, expensive estate charges, way too much building work and a glut of McMansions.RichB said:

Each to their own and all that but to me that is quite repulsive! Zonergem said:
Absolutely fine furnishings for a new build. Maybe a few too many rugs, a few too many cushions but hardly insane. But then again, these aren't normal new build people. They have books.
Brand new with a single storey flat-roofed kitchen extension to the rear? lolEdited by Zonergem on Tuesday 17th July 22:41

Not far from me. Would need a re-work in a few of the rooms (kitchen, diner, bathrooms) but more or less what i'd want if i was to hit the big time in the city & still have to commute in.
Then there's this - the Euro Millions win purchase. I think a BRG DB4GT & an E-type would look perfectly in place here.

Apologies if the above has been posted before.

I am quite looking forward to seeing what happens next. I cycled past it again today - it really is a smashing building.
