Neither of which are at all spectacular. Better than just looking at other buildings of course but hardly a majestic vista!
Depends how high you go:

Not convinced by this picture though:

Good lord no....I could barely keep it together standing at the top of the Rockerfella/Empire. Living that high up would properly pickle me.

Imagine coming home and looking up and thinking 'I live in one of those boxes' - no thank you.

It really is insanely tall looking when you are actually there. Its bizarre. Some insane flats inside though. Don’t think I could deal with living up that high though.

If stands out like a sore thumb. Those empty floors at intervals on the way up are to allow air to pass through so it doesn’t fall over!

The problem is that they did the comparison bar chart first, and then the builders mistook that for the architects' plans...
it always amazes me that modern architecture is so much less creative and beautiful than decades ago... when archaeologists look back in 300 years they will believe that we had no character this century

Could be worse... you could be in Hong Kong. Mid-levels central, so very expensive for what you get.

Looks like one of those blocks that's in the news twice every month because there's a small child dangling from one of the balconies.

This has probably already been posted as it's about a year old so apologies, but a pretty impressive (if not to everyone's tastes) gaff in Bel Air, currently owned by that Dan Bilzerian bloke...

It's off the market, which is a great shame as I could happily live there. biggrin

Yeah that was just an old advert that I found, I'm not sure if Dan B is the original, or just current owner.. Some videos of it and the parties he's had there on his Instagram, some 450 females... Not gonna lie I kinda wanna be his mate..

I think the small matter of having a few extra ones mightn't tax the buyer overmuch!

I like the idea of it, but at 31k sq. ft. it might be a ball-ache walking round it!

Perhaps that's why it's got 5 bars - in case one forgets their drink idea. But then I'm sure a lady would bring it. Hmmm.

I seem to remember that the building is hugely controversial in New York. Too tall, too thin, too extravagant. A gilded ghetto for billionaires.

The target you don't want to be in.

If I was tower living in New York I would take the Madison Square Park Tower - https://madisonsquareparktower.com/
