2 Million for a house with an address 10 Wood Lane doesn't sit comfortably with me.

Although they probably get fewer lost delivery folk than you'd get with a house name I suppose.

I’ve been to it (sold a property to the owner, lovely chap), it’s a very nice house with a massive garden.

Beautiful from the outside but the interior is horrid, IMO, as if you'd let someone loose with the OKA catalogue. A house like that should smell of woodsmoke and display the patina of centuries, not have a sterile white kitchen and (throbbing) purple accents in nearly every room. The portrait in oils hung at ceiling height above the bath is particularly egregious.

Wow, you lot were busy on Friday! Loving the coastal views, and I might prefer the Looe in Cornwall option...

I'm back in Chagford on Dartmoor again today, this time with a pool, tennis court and 130 acres.

The working farm buildings are conveniently half a mile from the house...

I spent the past weekend in Whitby and found this place - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...
Loads of history about the town, and given the popularity of the place I had expected it to be a lot more expensive. The E Type was not at home when I walked past though.

It's not a town designed for people well over 6ft and the wrong side of 17st, but as far as large period properties go, there's quite a few to choose from.

Although I was surprised at how much the very small harbour-side cottages were selling for - 1 bed for £185k - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

The first one's really nice, the dining area reminds me of a pub, so that's great. The second one, wow, i dread to think what that would cost in London. Double it and add a zero i reckon.

The cottages are largely weekend boltholes i suspect, and so have a premium attached.

There are as you see some fantastic merchants houses in Whitby, however they are too large for the local market. There's good demand for cottages up to 250k as bolt holes and holiday lets but it tapers off above that.

I was looking at that second one over the weekend as well hence me stumbling across that contemporary one I posted a page back. I've got a friend who lives very near there and they are lovely, just no back garden. Not sure I could deal with the hordes and it's a little remote but it's a lovely place and a great lifestyle if you're active (and can deal with the cold!).

I don't know a lot about drugs, but I have seen Trainspotting, so I'm pretty sure you'd need a bog.
