Ker-iste.

My mother's little chalet and those of her neighbours will look a bit lost.
Gopping. Wonder where they got their inspiration from...

Oh I do love that!

Give me several million and I'd have something like that built!

That does absolutely nothing for me, maybe need to see it furnished, but feels soul less.

Agree. Lovely location but looks like an Arnold Clark showroom.

It's unfurnished which never helps the pics. But I know what you mean. It's a bit too open plan. Had it be divided up, even by internal "features" rather than a complete wall.It would help lose the showroom feel

Car turntable and other trinkets

Heslington Lane, York, YO10

£1.4m by the look of where it appears in the list

I’d prefer a vicarage and change I think

I'm not a fan of open plan, but that's got some nice features. It's a lot of money though...

The turntable makes it a one-car garage.

Only if you insist on using it, otherwise it looks like a decent 2-car.

I mean as cool as the turntable is, it's practically useless isn't it laugh

If you park 2 cars, then you'll be reversing each of them a fair distance through that tunnel to/from the street.

^^^ I could see the appeal of the turntable house if it was in the centre of the city of York, but where it is, on the outskirts, it makes little sense!

What does it look like from the front? I can't seem to find it on street view.

Even if it was in the centre I still don't think there's a huge cohort of wannabe Patrick Bateman types in York who want a hyper-macho loft style apartment to rattle around in listening to Huey Lewis and murdering hookers.
