I think this would do nicely for me:

It looks nice at first but for me it begins to look overdeveloped on closer inspection. The small cluster of tightly packed bedrooms tell you the size of the original property and there are odd things like a completely unusable dining room for the size of the downstairs, that odd cabana where you can sit an relax in the summer, gazing at the table end of a property and ignoring the wider vista and the holiday let cabin has been made to look like a static by the addition of a compound fence just a few feet from the front door, presumably to keep ‘dags’ from snatching a feral child.

Not really Real Estate Pawn like some recently but something seemingly reasonably priced that could be tempting for a move back to pastyland…..although it has been on the market for 18 months which would be a worry....

18 months says a lot, but I like it. Quite a lot.

Still prefer the place in image 19:

It’s lovely, though I might find it a bit claustrophobic tucked away in amongst so much woodland.

FTFY You sound like my neighbours who cut all those trees and shrubs down, so now they have no privacy. hehe

No, I just meant that it would put me off buying if I were in the market due to the arboreal enclosure biggrin

Today, I am mostly lusting after a 46 acre small estate, close to the North Devon coast, and the enticing Coombe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

So who lives in a house like this.....?

it has a smattering of footballer, WAG, fitness, new money, trophy wife, that kind of thing. few footie shirts, obsessed with blue. Liverpool shirts? Everton on the tele? (perhaps)

Didn't realise it was quite that close

tbf I have lived that close before and it wasn't too bad, depends if there are any noisy points or not

I can see why its sat, hopefully it'll come down a bit and leave me with just 2.5m to find smile

Sorry i am not sure what you mean.

I posted it purely as a dream house for me if my numbers came up, barring the tracks the location is about as perfect as it can be for me and I like the house

Prices seem quite high.... I am from that part of the world. 46 acres is a fair amount, but I've seen a few Devon properties other than this one that seem quite lumpy in price.

After seeing a few documentaries on the issues related to keeping live Dinosaurs, I hope you've got your Raptor Repellent. If Richard Attenborough can't make a successful business out of it, even with help from Jeff Goldblum, I can't see it succeeding in North Devon.

Ah yes but Goldblum didn't try these signs:

Its right next to some points on the line at that junction. Going to be noisy. Some people however, can block that kind of noise out completely.
