Near me and has been on the market for ages. Lovely place.. wonder if it's the upkeep or the fact that a scary movie was shot there that is putting people off smile

Robot house! Pic 1. Once you see it you can't un-see it.

What's in the roof cavity above that back patio bit off the living room? It looks like there's only a split system cooling in the family room only? I don't know what the area is like for humidity there but on a stinker of a day (like today - 40 degrees here) a house full of evaporative cooling blowing out onto that patio onto me reclining comfortably with a drink in hand would be spectacularly good.

^ I think what is putting people off is:

The semi-detached cottages right next to the main house - one has a tenant on a 999 year lease from 1968
The Grade I listing
"Small" rear garden faces North

Otherwise, it is a fantastic property for the money.

I think I have found my ideal house. Its grade 2 listed but modernised in a way I would probably do myself if I had the budget. It big enough to give that feeling of space but not too big that you feel lost. Technology seems to have integrated really well and it just looks comfortable. I also really like the gardens. It appears from the spec that the furniture comes with the house which would be nice as I think I like most of it.

One last point the quality of the execution looks top notch, Check out the video under the title "film"

Lovely but some of the interior is rather too "silver" if you understand what I mean.

Indeed. They seem to have escaped the grey shimmering synthetic fabric and stripper LED treatment.

On the flip side, it does appear to have a sex dungeon to store all the Eastern European prostitutes. An all too common omission in today’s housing market.

First thing I insist on.

Although I lean toward Asian sex workers because cellars tend to have lower ceilings than the main the house.

On second viewing some of the statement furniture pieces are probably a little over the top but that is a very easy fix. It would be nice if they provided a floor plan.

The added benefit is that is only ten mins from my brother who lives in Oxted

Does anyone have an idea on price??
