The wrong side of the suspension bridge in Bristol, but a 700 sqft kitchen diner I could cope with.

I thought that might pop up here. It's on at £3.5 million.

Having nearly an acre, whilst being 10 minutes from the city centre, and 5 from Clifton Village, is very appealing

And near me. IIRC the big house is newish, the original farmhouse is the smaller stone house.

The farmer's widow lives at the end of the drive in another house.
No sewage works at the end of the garden, nor motorway access road. Not under a flight path or about to have a railway line through the living room. And it’s as if the owners have never heard of Dwell!!! Where’s the requisite polyester, shimmering furnishings? Or the plastic ratan garden furniture? There isn’t even a fk bucket on the patio.

The real killer is that it has a brewery within walking distance.

ETA notice they list the distance to Daylesford and not Soho wehouse? It’s as if the EA took one look at the property and knew the potential buyer type biggrin

Is that one for Tonker

At least to critique.

How deep are the skirting boards
What’s the bore of pipework
What colour F and B is used
Does it have cat 5 cabling

We need answers.

I'm sure there's just thousands walking along there every day. It goes past the house and on into a series of ploughed fields and then comes out at St Andrews Church, Great Rollright, a right mecca for Christians that place, full house every night.

We’ve got one that passes at the back of our place, on the edge of a small village in a rural area. It leads to a church and a series of ploughed fields too. And is a mecca for ramblers, horse riders and mountain bikers. Some of them are a PITA, esp the speeding MBers.
Sounds like a public bridleway if there are horses and bikes on it, footpaths crossing private land do not allow horses or cyclists, it is trespassing against the owner of the land.

All stunning.

What does anyone make of this property? Scotland yet again, but £1.2m for a square house in an estate?

Another that's been on Grand Designs. I seem to remember it wasn't anywhere near finished when KM did his final walk around. Lack of current interior pics might suggest it's still not finished!

But nah, overall.

I don't think this one has been on GD. There was a converted control tower just outside Tain, but the one above is just west of Perth.

I’m well aware of that (I used to deal with PROWs). The point I’m trying to make in relation to the subject property is that I’d not pay something like £5m for a property with a PFP so close. That’s all.

Boris Johnson former family home up for sale.

If the walls could talk they would probably provide some cracking soundbites.

This won't be for everyone but if my numbers come up this evening I'll be all over it. Just around the corner from me, I had no idea it was like this inside and at the rear (you can't access the rear as a passer-by). Appearances can be extremely deceptive!

Yeah that's pretty good fun, and nothing irreversible about the modern touches. Good one.

Certainly not what you expect from the outside and as most of it is actually furniture you could do what you liked. Its a lot for what is in reality a 2 bedroom house mind.

No garage.

Not sure I could live without a garage - in fact I know I couldn't.
