Glorious, and with a Pistonhead suitable garage too. £2,450,000

Lovely. That's all the house I'd ever need. I like it a lot.
How close to Langer aerodrome is it? As one of the biggest drop zones for parachute training in the country, (I think) I'd probably find it interesting having them drop on the lawn. Not that I'd lay out a massive X on the lawn to encourage them or anything...

hehe

It's about a mile to the closest point of the airfield perimeter, far side of the village.

Yeah I had noticed....It's possibly a bit on the high side given it's location.

Looks nice. My only two questions would be 1, has the thatch been done recently and 2, would they consider an offer of £250k instead?

Stunning house, inside and out, but for pushing £4m I’d want a bit more space around me.

I like that very much. I love their taste in styling the interior, not a million miles away from how S and I, and her mum does things.

I grew up in 4 Park Road between 1983 and 1996 and our garden backed onto the land on which those houses (there's a pair) were eventually built. It was an overgrown garden that was accessed (rented from the council perhaps, don't think it was owned) by 2 Park Road. So where I used to dig holes, climb trees and play with the neighbours children there's now just expensive minimalist sterility. weeping

With only nine photos on a £5.250,000 house am guessing the owners thought little of it too.

It appears to be quite close to some houses at the back, indeed the pool and patio is rather overlooked.

Ok. Understated (sort of) and loads of garage space. Ideal.

The garaging is useful but I'd struggle to see that at anywhere near 2 mill. I can't see much special about the area, nice enough but no premium really.
Also now over its 2 yr anniversary on RM
