Possibly a bit too close to the A720 Edinburgh Bypass and some errr "Interesting" decorating choices but seems a reasonable price given size and history.

So that's where the Blue Man Group have been held hostage all these years. But no more, it looks like he's escaping.

Though on the flip side, the buyer may well find themselves in the Guinness Book of Records for 'most spotlights in a single house'.
Liable to get a call from the electricity company every time you flick the light switch.

Honestly, if I didn't have kids going through school at the moment, etc, I could up sticks and move to that in a breathe. I assume the weather isn't quite normally as reflected in the pictures, but that is simply a great home for the right person at a very reasonable price.

Bit of freelance work to pay the bills, walks with the dog, your own boat for a bit of fun.
Are you saying I’m a burden dad?

Having just returned from a holiday in Ireland, I think that place could be pretty bloody bleak in winter.

Yes we regretfully came to the same conclusion, some might find it handy to still be in Europe post-Brexit though.

Having just returned from a holiday in Ireland, I think that place could be pretty bloody bleak 90% of the time.
As someone who has spent considerable time in Ireland (including summers), the above edit is needed!

When its sunny it’s glorious especially down on the south west coast, but god damn it’s rare.

It’s the ‘emerald isle’ for a reason!

Also not only is there an engineering company at the bottom of the drive , but it appears to have some sort of grass motor track just next to the property. Cant imagine this will go for anywhere near the asking....

Worse, it is within spitting distance of Prestonpans and Tranent...not the most desirable of postcodes.

Apart from the 2 different floors in the kitchen (easy fixed) very nice. Some nice light fixtures - never thought I would see faggots hanging from the ceiling in a house!

OT:

It's a shame that you need Euromillions for a £2.5m house, because the UK lottery is so crappy these days...
