I recall that Mr Randolph and Mr Mortimer Duke definitely had a driver, which should have made the same commute slightly more tolerable.
Would you like to bet a $ on that?
Ha ha, what's with those references? A thread on reddit was going crazy with those references yesterday.

Tawstock Castle, what's up for sale? It's holiday apartments is't it?

ETA Found it https://www.stags.co.uk/properties/12492191/sales

Looks like they're expecting £1.1m to £1.2m

Hope you win it. smile

Yes that’s it. It’s a 4 bed house.

That really is very nice. You even have a nice little race track around the outside of the house.

OMG, no taste whatsoever.

Horrid house, horrid decor!
One of those houses people buy just to say they have a big house. No redeeming features in my view.
I’ve seen some games rooms which have the odd arcade machine but surely an entire room of fruit machines is a first!

I tried to zoom some of the framed photos to see if this was a ’celebrity’ owner but couldn’t see. Has that air about it.

it's Sutton Coldfield; an odd place. Part Aston Villa footballer, part Essex diaspora, part octogenarian.

Is that Turkish and Tommy's place from Snatch?

There are other similar houses in the area which have been for sale since the dawn of time at half that!

House not too big, plenty of grounds and what seems to be a very good price for what you're getting ....

That's funny, my reaction was the opposite - a house that someone actually lives in comfortably. A bit like the Flint House.

The furniture and fittings are fine, and not over-the-top ‘statement’ stuff that’s found in many opulent houses.

Found this recently - it's a bit of an assault on the senses.

Also nearly £1.2M for a pokey mid-terrace?

Just down the road from us. I'm sure there's better value elsewhere, but a stunning property, in the area we choose to live.

Yes, it is. But not obtrusively so.

It was also a hideout for Christine Keeler during the Profumo affair.

Couldn't cope living in a town called Ware. It would be funny for all of 5 minutes.

Beautiful house though.
