Don't sweat it. That £30M house has been posted at least 3 times this year.
And it doesn’t look any nicer each time eek

That's rather nice. Seems cheap to me, what's the catch? (Apart from castle running costs, obvs).
No real catch anymore now it's being sold as a complete castle, but it's location isn't great. All the midlands carpet baron's want gold plated mock Palladian with lots of doric pillars. Been for sale for ages too, this must be it's 3rd or 4th relaunch.
I'm a little short currently but I'd have that in a heartbeat. I love it.
I've been in there a few times and it is amazing.

Train in 90 mins 4 times and hour to London. Half an Hour to Manchester.

Evidently having issues selling it

That was up for £5 million last year. I'm sure it was on tv a few years ago, a programme about wealthy entrepreneurs, one of whom had turned up to view this property. I'm thinking it might have been the Poundland chap?

£3m in 2014, £2.95m in Jan 2018 and before the above relisting it was being offered as a £20,000 shared ownership investment - https://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-history/caverswa...

As for the locals, I would put the dungeons to good use.

I'd like to submit this for consideration. We semi-seriously considered it, but it's a bit far from the office, and next to a noisy road. Quite wonderful though.

The main room looks good with the vaulted ceiling but the other rooms are piney and noisy road too

Not for me. Not many properties are far from a road but that's way too close to an extremely busy one, one of the busiest in the south of England I'd say.

I like this building, but the interior needs some work.

On the first, agree on the interior, but there's not a lot you can (easily) do about the small windows...

The second just looks sooo small from a headroom perspective.

I'm not a cottage person but I like the second one.

Needs decluttering a bit. A lot big furniture in there but they've definitely done it up nicely.

Not hardcore pawn but I really like the look of this, CGI images but their previous developments have all been lovely.

It’s OK, but nothing special for £700k and the proximity to other houses would put me right off at this sort of money.

No, but I don't expect it to look like a newbuild.

I've never offered up a property for consideration on this thread before so go gently...

This

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

Was listed recently along the road from me, whilst some of the interior isn't to my taste, the location, views and the fact it comes with the properties that are nearest to it elevates it to something quite special in my book. Nice history too.
