Was listed recently along the road from me, whilst some of the interior isn't to my taste, the location, views and the fact it comes with the properties that are nearest to it elevates it to something quite special in my book. Nice history too.
That's lovely, I love a William and Mary house - bet it needs some upkeep though.

This may have made an appearance already as its been on the market for over 18 months (and I can't be arsed checking), but I give you.... Palladio

Can anyone say 'sex party'? party

Pic 2 has what appears to be check in desk and the seven seat white leather sofa in pic 3 is bizarre!

I'm sure that's appeared before, in the nightmares thread. Handy for the A46/M40 though.

To the best of my knowledge, it's been for sale for at least eight years.

Bromham's a nice spot, chap who does our roof lives there I think. Did you do the food festival last weekend?

Indeed, I've friends who used to live there and I've played skittles in the pub once or twice.
No food festival for me, was a trifle busy with decorating!

The garage is useless to me. At least one of my cars won't fit through a standard size garage door.

Agreed. If I can't have Soup over and keep his motor safe then it's not for me

There's no nothing in sight. A couple of pictures and lots of (plastic?) flowers in cases, but it doesn't look like anyone lives there.

Is this the house for which the word 'windswept' was coined?

Wasn't that garage a build thread on here many moons ago?

There was a house on here featured a while back with a 4 car garage. Had a McLaren, a classis Rally prep'd 911 andother bits and pieces. Seemed asking for trouble to advertise their presence. Maybe the owner thought the same. confused

I’m pretty sure you’re right, but the one I’m thinking of was, in my mind, in Ireland. Also thought it had grass on the roof.

I could very likely be wrong on both counts and it does look really familiar. Can’t find the build thread though.

I’m well aware who Palladio was. This is just a crappy pastiche of his architectural ability.

An offering from Dorset. Fairly close to the coast, I could live with this quite happily.
