This is rather lovely, and seems good value for near london/Gatwick

You're very welcome to it. I don't like a single element.

I distinctly remember designing something similar as my 'dream house' when I was seven or eight.

Then I grew up.

It's funny I've always loved old character properties rather than new bland white

Now I live in a 1700's damp cottage all I want is new and white laugh

I quite like it, must be about next to the house of one of my old schoolfriends. Many a happy lunch hour spent racing down Old Hollow at speeds that only a 17 year old could ever achieve

I like it - our preference is remote with a good amount of land. Plus a PH approved garage consented by planning

Aside from the wood lined hallway. I like it.

But I'm a sucker for unusual buildings.

Rather than that 95% the old country houses/mansions we see on this thread.

We live in 2020 soon. Lets have some architecture and homes that are less than 100 years old! Old homes are ste! biggrin

Like the design, form and scale of the building but the interior is awfully clinical

This would do me very nicely indeed.

As I'm not into horses this stable block would make a fantastic garage complex

There aren't many houses that look more interesting on the outside than the inside. This is one though.

Love it, and I'm with you on the stable block repurposing. 4.6 large though, big money as the internal living space isn't terribly big.

All down to location and the land I suppose.

For me this hits the spot perfectly between a traditional house with lots of character and some history but with modern living. I don't understand those who post up links to some drafty Grade 1 listed place that looks like Blackadder II has just moved out.

If the stables are listed too, you're kind of stuffed though...

The interior’s unpleasant but otherwise a lovely property

Oh, you're *just* so very enlightened, aren't you? All grown up and everything.

hehe

Me? I freakin' love it, don't like the interior décor but that's easily fixed.
