The risk being, you lose your mooring rights and maintenance would be high. Not exactly private. 3.5M buys a lot of property even in St katherine's Dock
Indeed!

4 bed Penthouse
In the late 90's I was based in Narrow Street, I attended a Party in one of the large apartments on Tower Bridge, overlooking the Thames. A stunning warehouse conversion, worth about £750K at the time which was a lot of money back then. Butlers Wharf I recall. The owner was a photographer. Travelled the World taking photos for postcards/cards.

The 3rd on that list has some particularly attractive neighbouring properties.

Another couple of nice ones from Devon...

---

Close to a kid-centric theme park, but not too close I don't think. Sadly it doesn't look like there's a pub in the village, and it looks like some new builds have either gone in or are going in. I does have an underground lair though.

Lovely location, but I think the house might need a little care and attention:

Some family friends of ours own this.
Lovely spot but I would prefer to be a bit closer to town. You aren't wrong re care and attention.

Seems there's planning permission to replace the flat-roofed extension on the left with a separate just-about-detached house. And that part of the plot's not included in the sale.

That's the bit that would put me off... smacks of an elderly owner who can no longer afford / manage to look after the main house but doesn't want to leave the locality.... you can bet they'd be a nightmare with any modifications you might want to make once purchased.

I'd want the whole plot or not at all

Location/setting is stunning. The house is a mess - ruined with unsympathetic extensions and alterations.

Classic weekend/party house rental setup, cheap furnishings and probably lots of fire doors and safety notices dotted around.

It would be nicer if they hadn't crammed another similar sized house on the plot and still tried to sell it for over 2m.

House to garden ratio all wrong (7,000 sqft vs 0.5 acre).
Pool area is a bit 'Miami Vice' for the UK's climate.
Also the wrong side of the A27.

It seems to me that Chichester has the worst traffic outside London, too.
