It seems to me that Chichester has the worst traffic outside London, too.
I'm near Arundel - you're not wrong. Traffic in Chichester has increased massively over recent years.

Nice one in Chichester, decent garaging too smile

House to garden ratio all wrong (7,000 sqft vs 0.5 acre).
Pool area is a bit 'Miami Vice' for the UK's climate.
Also the wrong side of the A27.
Same thoughts here, although the garaging does meet my requirements. I'd want to have a little more room between myself an my neighbour for that kind of money smile

Looks like 2 houses built on one plot with a shared entrance gate, then individual gates further in. Also one of the garages seems to be outside the inside gates. All a bit of a mess and no way would I be sharing my driveway for £2.x million. nono

It would be nicer if they hadn't crammed another similar sized house on the plot and still tried to sell it for over 2m.
Jesus! Google map just kills it doesn't it!

Ditto on the shared driveway thing.

Slight tangent. There's a house I've posted elsewhere (might be here or the nightmare thread) Been for sale for ages, couldn't work it out so went and had a look at it one day on a bike ride. Again shared driveway (between 3 properties!) not mentioned in the agents blurb. Like this place in Chichester. It looks like it was 1 house and massive garden, then divided up 3 ways.

Shared drieways are a source of bother for everyone. As above, for £2M. Not a fricking chance!

would have happily lost the pool (not that I can afford the ££) but the shared drive eek has just killed it stone dead for me. I wouldn't countenance a shared drive at my budget let alone one at that price point

I suspect it will be used as a weekend / holiday party place by someone that lives in London during the week so I doubt that the shared drive is as much of an issue as some on this thread think.

Friend's place is for sale; lovely setting, 2 mins walk from the beach.

Has he got loads of brown leather sofas, or did they just keep moving them around for the photos?

Needs more glass. Rip out the black panels and replace with glass all round!

He doesn't live there anymore (hence the sale), so the place is currently empty. I suspect they were moved for the photos but I pity the poor sods who carried them to the top of the tower.....

It is certainly rather odd looking, dare I say ugly?

Anyone who calls it ugly gets given the bird.

I wouldn’t say ugly, but it’s not very imposing. Difficult to make out it’s former use, and the end result is a bit Holiday Inn-ish. And £1.5m? rofl

I don't understand you comment but to me, architecturally it looks like two matching suburban semis with a stonking great tower stuck in the middle. I've looked again and yep, it's ugly.

My comment was based on the fact that it looks like somebody flipping the bird.

ETA: and you're right about the semis thing.
