Wow, incisive contribution there.

How exactly is it st in your view?
I felt no compulsion to waste more words on it.

But since you asked, it's a tiny plot that is mostly in the shade. What little garden you do have is slanting and therefore next to useless.

The exterior is ugly and for me the entire interior needs modernising. Small kitchen. No ensuites. The bedroom layout is like a hotel. I could go on. It's has no appeal for me whatsover.
You seem nice

You seem stupid.

I rather like that, and I wasn't expecting to see an indoor pool.
I think it's a shame when the EA can't be arsed to sort the pictures correctly, rather than spreading images of the kitchen among the 40 or so total images.

Pity it couldn't have been a couple of miles up the road in the far better sounding "Scagglethorpe"! (Sp?)

We’ve got friends who live in The Mount, a most impressive collection of lovely Victorian and Edwardian houses, and this has to be one of the best. Didn’t realise the plot was so big though!

I don't understand why you'd pay £1.5m and live in a semi.

Is a kitchen, or a snooker room, or a lighting showroom? I can't make my mind up.

Lots of people pay £1.5 mm to live in a terrace... neighbours shopping in that price bracket have a lower propensity to be antisocial scrubbers I suppose.

I think the price is a bit strong for NI but it’s a great location and lovely setting

I get that. But £1.5m will get you a lot more than a semi in that area.

I know the Normanby house well - parents in law are about 3 miles away on the banks of the Rye. Sits on a good rise and gorgeous views in the spring and summer.

It really isn't in the Howardian Hills though, it's in Ryedale. Closer to the North York Moors than the HH AONB.
