Jings. Anyone any idea who lives there? Interesting car collection in the garage!
Saudi billionaire, recently deceased. Kids are selling everything, so garage contents probably up for grabs.
Stands to reason, All Rollers, Mercs and Bentleys. Looks like there's a Jordan F1 car but you can keep the rest. Ok, sell them off for cash but they're just what you'd expect in a Saudi billionaire's underground car park.

17 miles across the Bristol Channel...

If I buy a telescope I can probably see that from my village. Nice house but too many corpses.

Or put another way a 10k run just to fetch the post - it would keep you fit that house. Sort of reminds me of Tyntesfield, not so much the house as the back story and how it has come to market. For a 100+mill lottery winner it would be tempting.

Rustic looking converted hayloft in the Melbourne suburbs.

There's an article about its history, and the fact that it hasn't sold.

https://www.domain.com.au/news/historic-thomson-ho...

The fact that it's heritage listed (the Australian equivalent of a Grade II listing) means it can't be demolished, and replaced with a faux French Provincial style McMansion. Due to the peculiarities of the local market, that should force the price down. Even the agent seems to agree the vendors are being optimistic.

Also, recently divorced. I think it was about a month between divorce and death. I wonder what the differece between settlement and inheritance would have been.

Some beatiful details but it's effectively a one bedroom place.

Love this place. Very hard to make a very modern property appealing but this would do me....

How about a rental? It's a bit smaller than I would ideally like, but it has a certain appeal.

£360k pa seems like a lot, but it can’t be all that more than you’d spend maintaining it if you owned it.

Would likely be an expensive place to own, being grade 1 listed and all.

That's lovely, but Park Street is mental on a Friday and Saturday night. I'd have the fixer-upper townhouse listed on that site, in proper Clifton.

Likely a drop in the ocean compared to maintaining it!

Nice piece of history, but a shocking home, I suspect.

They need to get government permission to properly dismantle it and move to another location for rebuilding and someone who will do it, give it away for free if needed. Then sell the plot for $3m. Many historic buildings have been moved this way.

A mile or so from me. This place could do with a little modernising but look at the man cave!

That’s a good size isn’t it! It’s a very strange house to play ‘through the keyhole’ with. The railings at the front suggest Indians and the Merc and old Jag suggest older Indians but then the man cave and funky front door and panoramic window suggest middle aged Englishman but the wood panelling, dado rail stuff, living room in general and conservatory all suggest older Englishman. It looks like it’s all been a lifetime’s work and done for themselves rather than for show which is unusual these days and is in fact weirdly homely as a result.
