Ok. Probably a repost, and yeah I know it is Wentworth, but I quite like this. Not the price, but the building, and it is not the stereotypical White House-esque mansion.

I think its stunning. Shame its not somewhere nicer, like down on the coast somewhere.

In one of the photos you can see the drone pilot.... smile
Much more interesting than the usual stuff put up on Wentworth.

That’s generally a bit of a master class on how to do it properly. A couple of bits don’t seem to work like the bathroom and why on a £30m house would you show just one bedroom that’s barely larger than a static and where only one person can get to the bed?

Difficult in a way because the billionaire market - most obviously the Chinese but pretty generally - craves newness and the history of the property is either neutral or a positive detriment to them. If you read the brochure carefully you'll see it's Listed which might put them off.

Was originally on the market for £32m in June 2017, now priced at between £20-21m based on listing and "On behalf of the Receiver...."

This is exactly what I would expect a UKIP leader candidates house to look like.

Oh sure, but I've always preferred this street in Putney, and if I was going to have a place in town, I'd be strongly drawn here:

Also, currently a blank canvas...

Change from £4m.

You could probably run a Union flag up that street lamp alright. Might need to lose the CLS in the garage, mind.

I rarely do “interesting” but when I saw the rear elevation of that I was instantly brought back to this place.

(There’s not much else that connects them, I accept).

Yeah, I’d swap for that one, too.

Middle of London? I don't know, but the house is lovely - it has:

Sub-Basement
Basement
Lower Ground Floor
Raised Ground Floor
First, Second & Third floors

Good parking though

Cary Grants house is up at $12M. Ocean front and unusually not that close to the neighbor.

This is how it used to look.

Oh, this is it now

Lovely. A ‘boltons’ property like that would have been probably 30% above in the peak market of 2014/15. Plenty of developers are going to hit the wall...

Jesus that last pic! rofl

I don’t see how if that house is worth 12m that a car park can be there! How can that be a commercially viable use for that land?!

I think I'd be buying the one down and to the left, demolishing and starting again. That one's in a difficult place in that it's going to alienate 99% of people, yet it's too expensive to demolish and build.

That is a very funny example of how the world has changed.

Do you get the car park in the purchase and if so can you build on it?

What's funny is people complaining on here when someone posts a house that has no parking.
