So I was about to install my new Mr Beams Ultra Bright spotlights, however noticed that they don't have left to right movement, i.e. you can only move them up and down. I wanted to install it on the corner of my property using the drain pipe fittings (purchased separately) but direct it towards the driveway but seems this isn't possible. I assumed they would be on a ball joint allowing full movement for direction. Should have spotted it before but tempted to return them now.

I have thanks. I get that you can move the whole unit within the base but this movement isn't possible when using the drain pipe fitting as the main part of the light is slotted in so the base isn't used. Hopefully the pic below helps. Would have been better if the sideways adjustment was in the same joint as the vertical adjustment.
