We have an Edwardian house in Manchester with sanded wooden floors. There is 3/4' cavity/low basement underneath.

I'd like to get under the floorboards insulated. There is quite a lot of air movement under there.

Spoke to this chap who sounded perfect - but now he's not answering his phones.

Anyone know someone in the North West who could do this job? Thanks.

Considering doing it myself, but worried about all the pipes and cables under there from the electric rewire.

This looks like decent stuff.

I looked into it once, appears you nail battens along your joists and lay the insulation strips down on them, cut to a fairly tight fit. . You have to pull all your floorboards up though.
