We read many articles about mattresses, much advice about Casper, Leesa, Helix mattresses. Has anyone already bought mattresses from these companies?

Recently got an Ergoflex king size. Similar to the Leesa/Simba/Eve mattresses.

Wife thought it was a bit hard the first night, but hasn’t looked back since. No regrets at all moving from a sprung mattress and have been getting better sleeps.

We're thinking of seeing if we can get a duel firmness one as the missus likes sleeping on concrete and I like something with a little more give.

Any experiences?

Have you stayed in either a Premier Inn or Travelodge recently? Did you like the bed? We were in the market for a bed when we then stayed in a Travelodge, loved the bed and bought the mattress. Pleased to have spent a full night on it before buying, decent price, delivery and service too

I hope they cleaned it as well.

I bought an Ergoflex & while I slept better on it than on my old mattress I found that I simply did not like the feel of the memory foam as it is so slow to spring back when you move. I sent it back. I've now got a latex topped mattress from Latexsense & it seems very good. You can change twice in 105 days & if the third one still isn't right you can send it back for a refund.

My previous mattress was from John Lewis & it was very uncomfortable. I'd never go there again for a bed.

Know what you mean but fortunately neither of us move much once we’ve got comfy.

I wasn’t sure myself the first night but now wish we’d got one sooner.

We have one of these from John Lewis, about 3 yrs old, from memory approx £1200, My side is like granite, the wife's medium, you can really notice if straying across, no issues at all and we would buy another when this one is a bit tired.

Don't forget Ikea. My matress from them is ace. I look forward to getting into bed and really don't want to get out of bed in the mornings. I love it :-)

Sorry to hear that, has it caused her neck problems?

I think it’ll get softer with age and nightly use, although having said that I haven’t noticed it but Mrs P would probably say otherwise.

Yep, started to happen to me about 50ish onwards. Nightly use got to be more of a problem as well.

I like casper mattress, I thought for a long time which mattress to buy. But I was helped by an article in choosing a mattress https://happysleepyhead.com/casper-mattress-review... , there are excellent written pros and cons of the mattress.
