Exactly this. Would be worth having a chat with a couple of builders and structural engineers first to get their view on whether a structural engineer needs to look at it, or not. Site visits and drawings aren't cheap, so you don't want to pay for something you don't need.
Cheers. I'll have a chat with the engineer that did the initial survey and see if it's something he can offer.
