looks incredible, do you have many issues with tree clutter dropping down onto the roof/outside areas at certain times of the year? couldn't see what trees were very close by.
It’s in a beech plantation so they are all 80 year old beeches.

Don’t know yet, it’s only been built for about 7 days lol, ask me in a year!

Well it all went fantastically on Facebook when we launched, over 120 shares, a zillion positive comments and 5 bookings!

Long may it continue smile

very impressed, it looks incredible!

In know it's not for everyone, and if you can fill it with your existing network then fire ahead, but if you want to get it featured on Homeaway / Expedia / Hotels.com then let me know and I'll put you in touch with the right people.

Well done, my wife and I try and get away somewhere like this once a month. Are you still doing hot tubs? They feature quite heavily on the list of things we look for.

Well things have gone a little crazy, lots of press coverage, lots of bookings, and may even be on TV soon!

Need to get a professional photographer in really, to take some fresh pics and will update this thread smile

Thread resurrection, was planning on a visit last year but work got in the way.
Stupidly didn’t look to book and see that all the summer is gone, will be going to look for a few days next year.

Great to see the venture is going very well, well done it looks great.

Went to book this as I loved reading the build thread but availability is um.....challenging. Easier to get into The Fat Duck. Well done on the success and all that. Well deserved. I hate to say it but can you build another please?

I'm stunned by how nicely it's turned out.

I am very curious though on the Return on Investment for a place like this? How long before you're turning a true profit vs initial and running costs?

Thanks a lot! Number 2 is being built tail end of 19, so should be up and running in 2020!

Well, that would be telling, but to be honest this was more of a lifestyle change decision than a business decision, we had the savings from a previous house investment/sale, wanted to stop the daily grind, start a family and live off the land, so the income from this, and soon to be another is doing exactly that smile

Absolutely bloody superb. A beautiful, usable, work of art.

We'll be booking for a long weekend next year.

Do you still have plans for the hobbit House?
