I'd say that's a very good estimate /\

Fagpaper estimate, it really is. Take with a large pinch of salt as there is such a tiny spec and no idea about foreign regs.

£6500
2 sparkys for 6 days

That would be an approx estimate for a UK job of that size in basic white plastic, with no weird extras.

...ish.
Cheers

I can see where 6 days comes from as the house is 2x a typical UK house.

If the wiring follows the German standard they do it kind of room by room with a cable from the distribution unit to a junction box and then all sockets and lights connected to thst. So there’s probably more wiring than in a UK ring main system.

Plus there’s the wiring for the A/C units.

However you said first fix only and obviously connecting all the fittings is time consuming so 6 days for 2 people is probably still pretty reasonable.

OP, most work on houses on island of Hvar is done by people from town of Split. Be it builders, electricians, plasterers, doing the day trips from Split and back or staying for a few days on the island. Maybe you should extend your search of local workforce to Split, there is a number of companies offering these services.

I may have to go over to the island in the next couple of months and talk to some people over there. Is tricky to do from over here sadly. You seem to know a lot about Hvar - have you got a place over there?

No I do not have a place on Hvar, but I spend a lot of time in Split. Maybe I can connect you with some people from Split. PM me if you want it.
