I was just going to ask the same - if you've not filled the space with insulation then that looks to have been a waste of time.

Why didn't you board on top if joist?
Mineral wool insulation should be a foot deep.
Those are trusses, not joists.

The insulation appears to have been compromised by this installation and the trusses are not designed to be loaded up.

All round it's a bad idea in construction terms and will void your warranty.

I did mine 10 years ago, I screwed battens into the brickwork then fixed joist hangers to hang the new joists slightly higher than the ceiling joists. I then fitted tongue and grove flooring.

I like that, avoids loading the joists/trusses and plenty of space for insulation.

I used Loftzone its very good and its very flexible if you have odd spacing or you want to go around the triangle bits of wood

It is very expensive though!

Its rock solid to walk on.

And it looks like it is in photo 1 but in photo 3 it looks like it has either been compressed down or some removed as it is lower than the joists.
I would assume the big pile of insulation on the right hand side of photo 4 is the insulation he took up whilst he was working.......
