No, he clarified later that the guy parks on the footpath in front of the drive.

Buy a cheap car. Leave your dad's car in the road for a bit. Next time he parks on your drive, park cheap car behind it. Leave it..

The other option is speak to a clamping company about putting up a sign on your drive and then clamping him and towing the car.......
