I hope that is staying somewhere in the final build, bottom of a draw maybe?

will tickle whoever find it in the future smile
Sadly not - it’s an old door.

I have, however, got a well wrapped up VHS machine in a wall cavity of our cellar office conversion. Someone may find that interesting in years to come.
Excellent. Hopefully it fairs better than the Blue Peter time capsule biggrin

I've had this a while now and used it far more than I thought I would. Milwaukee 12v SDS. I keep a 6mm bit in it all the time and use whenever the Rawl plugs are needed. Never use the hammer.action in my normal drill any more, this is just so much better. It'll comfortably do 13mm+ in concrete. It has no chisel function and it'd probably struggle with big core drills, althoug lh I bet it would cope ok up to 25-30mm sort of size.

I borrowed one of these the other day and I was really impressed, It only had a 2.0 a/h battery in it but seemed to be ideal for small works. I'm used to a 36v Bosch but find it a bit clumsy so I'll probably get one of these.

In between those 3 extreme, my 18V Makita did a good job with a 16mm masonry bit last weekend too.

Well it's arrived not sure what bits aluminium as it's fking heavy but it can lift me up hapily smile and certainly safter than the 20 year old Halfords one with a 2 ton plus car on it
How heavy? The SGS one is 26Kg, which is consistent with all the others I've looked at.

That's a relief. I was dreading having to start a "Scales. Talk To Me." thread.

The trolley Jack I’m sending back is 33kg if that helps. The expensive Ali ones seen to save 8kg on that.

I can’t believe I’m typing this drivel.

To be fair, back then I wasn't aware of how many mental people were on PH.

I picked mine up earlier. It weighs approximately, "argh me back!"

Had a dado rail to put up, already had a spare tripod and this was in the sale.

Measure once, set the laser, do a whole room without checking levels or measurements once.

Reckon it saved me at least an hour over setting chalk lines and only partially blinded me. Plus, Lasers.

A jolly useful attachment for the Nilfisk pressure washer. It's a hose for cleaning drains which jets fore & aft - effectively pulling itself along as it cleans.

I've just used it to deal with a very awkward to get to blockage which allegedly has thwarted a couple of plumbers.

Went to Axminster tools yesterday and bought, amongst a few other unplanned purchases, a diamond sharpening stone.

It's a revelation.

Many many diamonds are sharpened. They cut better! smile

I tried to resurrect my late Dad's 1980 B&D circular saw but one of the bushes is FYBAR so just ordered this from Screwfix and about to go and collect it:

Had a £15 discount voucher sent to me the other day so used that too.

Should have these dozen doors all fitten within a month of so hehe
