Yes I’m aware of adapters. They’ve been mentioned here many times.

I read trustmeimadoctor post as makita batteries fit both tools without adapters

Bought a mini roughneck mattock at the weekend, another recommendation here, much easier for certain jobs than a full size one! Had to grub out some old conifer roots (amazing how long that stuff takes to rot under the ground, was 6 years old and looked new!)

She nicknamed me ‘bamboo’ as I’m very fast growing and sturdy.

A mate showed me their new electric file sander today, a tool I didn't realise existed. Had a go with it and it was brilliant, so may uses from sanding down timber, plunging into recesses, grinding into plaster/mortar, sanding paint off metal etc. Great for working on small areas. Even better news was discovering Makita do a cordless model.

Haven't bought iti yet, but when I do it will become the 'tool I wish I'd bought sooner'..

I'd happily pay any upgrader a pittance for their unwanted mains version...

I have the corded version-brilliant bit of kit.
The main uses I have found for it, lawn mower blades/axes.
Also brilliant when welding to get in tight spaces.

I’ve just been reminded how much they cost - maybe I’ll stick with corded for the time being…

So I know it's a finger sander, but how is it on thumbs? Can it do toes? I've got this hard skin that a pumice simply won't shift.

Not sure, but I bet it's quite effective at getting rid of nostril hair.

DeWalt Tyre Inflator/Air Compressor. So much better than the generic £30 ones of which i have had several over the years. Works either 12V or off a DeWalt battery which I have a couple of for power tools. Quicker, better fixings and love it being cable free!

Not sure about other brands, but they do an aftermarket finger file adapter that bolts onto the Milwaukee mini cut off saw
