That's great and really good you managed to stick to the budget. I won't go into the figures on our original renovation (it's in 3 phases and we've done 2) but safe to say we massively underestimated the costs mainly because we were green to it.

Same here for plumber!

They laid the soil pipe (which was difficult across the loft and did a great job) but our house is white render and they just carried on with the grey pipe outside!

White soil pipe is in stock at the merchants and is £0.95p more for 3M !
