Checking my title deeds I notice under 'Charges register' the phrase
"A Conveyance of the land in this title dated …………..between...……. contains restrictive covenants."

Where do I find details of the covenants? I'm sure I was told all about them when I bought the place but that was many years ago.

Whats the date? Old ones are tricky to get the details

Generally there will be a further statement on the title, most likely one of the following:
"No copy of the conveyance was provided on first registration"
"NOTE: Copy filed"
"The covenants are set out in the schedule of restrictive covenants"
or they may be set out in the following numbered paragraph or later in the Charges Register - have a look for other references to that same conveyance.

If it's 'Copy filed' then you can order a copy of the conveyance from the Land Registry, but you should have been given a copy in the title deeds.
